Fix It Friday is 6 months old, and I'm giving away a small clothes repair kit to help you get started on your mending journey! Inside this pouch are a few of my favourite things:

a) Four spools of polyester thread in navy, white, black and pink
b) Needle threader
c) Seam ripper
d) Range of sewing needle sharps and darning needle
e) Measuring tape
f) Swatch of fusible web
g) Some cute buttons

  28. The first thing I'd tackle is buttons and zippers. we have a small (but growing) pile of clothing that has lost buttons and zippers or torn after only a few wears that we couldn't bring ourselves to toss. Getting them back into shape would be a good idea and a good use for the kit!

  51. Where to begin? I have so many things that need to be fixed.. Ill be honest I am just learning how to do this stuff on my own... My grandma used to do all my sewing for me until recently. But I know I would make her proud if I did it on my own.
